Diverge 4 Expert - Shimano GRX Di2 2027
Race-tuned. Adventure-approved. The Diverge 4 gravel bike is built for full-gas race days and off-grid epics. With Future Shock 3.0, our most responsive frame ever, massive tire clearance, and the biggest internal storage in gravel, the best gravel bike in the world just got better. Chase the horizon—or your rivals—it’s built for both.
This Specialized Diverge is built around a FACT 9r carbon frame with SWAT Door integration, Future Shock suspension, a threaded bottom bracket, internal cable routing, a 12x142mm thru-axle, flat-mount disc brakes, and a UDH dropout. Up front, the Future Shock 3.2 with Smooth Boot is paired with a FACT 9r carbon fork using a 12x100mm thru-axle and flat-mount disc mounting.
Braking is handled by Shimano GRX BR-RX820 hydraulic discs front and rear. The drivetrain is a 12-speed electronic setup: Shimano GRX Di2 ST-RX825 shift levers and a GRX Di2 RD-RX827 rear derailleur, matched with a GRX FC-RX820 crankset with a 40t chainring, a Shimano Deore XT CS-M8100 10-51t cassette, a Shimano XT CN-M8100 chain, and a Shimano threaded BSA bottom bracket.
The bike rolls on Roval Terra C III wheels front and rear, each with a tubeless-ready carbon rim (27mm inner width, 25.5mm depth), a DT 370 hub, and 24 Sapim D-Light spokes. They’re wrapped in Tracer TLR All Terrain gravel tires in 700x45 with tan sidewalls, also tubeless ready, and the bike ships with 700x32-50mm inner tubes with 40mm Presta valves.
In the cockpit, a Future Stem Pro holds Specialized Adventure Gear Hover handlebars (103mm drop, 70mm reach, 12º flare) wrapped in Supacaz Super Sticky Kush tape. The saddle is a Body Geometry Power Expert with hollow titanium rails, mounted on a Roval Terra carbon seatpost with 20mm offset and secured by a Specialized alloy 30.8mm seat binder. For storage, the bike includes SWAT 4.0 internal downtube storage.
