The Velotric Discover M is a step‑through electric bike offered in Platinum Silver and Olivine Green, built around a triple‑butted aluminum alloy frame paired with an air‑suspension fork providing 80 mm of travel and a lock‑out feature. It comes in Regular and Large sizes, with rider height ranges that vary depending on whether a suspension seatpost is used. Power is delivered by a 48V, 500W rear hub motor that peaks at 960W and produces 100 Nm of torque, supported by a 48V, 16.7Ah (801.6Wh) UL‑certified battery using Samsung/LG 21700 cells. A 3A fast charger, a 3.5‑inch full‑color high‑brightness display with Bluetooth and NFC, SensorSwap™ torque‑and‑cadence sensing, a USB‑C charging port, removable trigger throttle, and four pedal‑assist modes plus Auto Mode round out the electronics. Integrated lighting includes a 500‑lumen front LED and a multifunction rear light with brake, turn, and steady/flash modes. The bike is rated IPX6 for water resistance and supports app connectivity, OTA updates, Apple Find My, Android Find Hub, and NFC card unlocking.

The Discover M reaches a default top speed of 20 mph, adjustable between 12 and 28 mph, and can be configured as a Class 1, 2, or 3 e‑bike. Riders can expect up to 70 miles of throttle‑only range and up to 95 miles with pedal assist. Braking is handled by Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors and power‑cutoff levers. Despite weighing 60 lbs, the bike supports a 440‑lb maximum load, with a rear rack rated for 66 lbs and compatible with MIK HD accessories. The cockpit features an adjustable aluminum stem, ergonomic lock‑on grips, and a Velotric comfort saddle mounted on a suspension seatpost. NOVATEC hubs, aluminum rims, and Kenda 27.5×2.4‑inch puncture‑resistant e‑bike tires complete the wheel setup. Full‑coverage aluminum fenders, a rear‑mount kickstand, and plastic pedals are included. The drivetrain consists of a 46T narrow‑wide chainring, 170 mm alloy crankset, a Shimano Cues 9‑speed derailleur and shifter, an 11–46T cassette, and a KMC eGlide 9‑speed chain. The bike meets UL 2849, UL 2271, and ISO 4210 certification standards.
