The Velotric Discover 3 is a step‑through electric bike available in Emerald Green, Lemans Blue, Cherry Crimson, Stone Gray, and Mint. It features a triple‑butted aluminum alloy frame paired with an air‑suspension fork offering 80 mm of travel and lock‑out capability. Riders can choose between Regular and Large sizes, with height ranges varying depending on whether a suspension seatpost is used. Power comes from a 48V, 750W hub motor that peaks at 1100W and delivers 75 Nm of torque, supported by a 48V, 15.2Ah (730Wh) UL‑certified battery built with Samsung/LG 21700 cells. A 3A fast charger, a 3.5‑inch full‑color display with Bluetooth and NFC, and SensorSwap™ torque-and-cadence sensing round out the electronics. The bike includes a USB‑C charging port, removable trigger throttle, five pedal‑assist modes, and integrated lighting: a 500‑lumen front LED and a multifunction rear light with brake, turn, and steady/flash modes. The entire bike is rated IPX6 water‑resistant and supports app connectivity, OTA updates, Apple Find My, Android Find Hub, and NFC card unlocking.

The Discover 3 can reach a default top speed of 20 mph, adjustable between 12 and 28 mph, and supports Class 1, 2, or 3 configurations. Riders can expect up to 65 miles of throttle‑only range and up to 80 miles with pedal assist. Stopping power comes from Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors and power‑cutoff levers. Despite weighing 61 lbs, the bike supports a substantial 440‑lb maximum load, with the rear rack rated for 66 lbs and compatible with MIK HD accessories. The cockpit includes an adjustable aluminum stem, ergonomic lock‑on grips, and a Velotric comfort saddle mounted on a suspension seatpost. NOVATEC hubs, aluminum rims, and Kenda 27.5×2.4‑inch puncture‑resistant e‑bike tires complete the wheel setup. Full‑coverage aluminum fenders, a rear‑mount kickstand, and plastic pedals come standard. The drivetrain uses a 46T narrow‑wide chainring, 170 mm alloy crankset, Shimano 8‑speed derailleur and shifter, an 11–40T freewheel, and a KMC 8‑speed chain. The bike meets UL 2849, UL 2271, and ISO 4210 certification standards.
