This e‑bike is built around the 2025 Vado SL Step‑Through frameset paired with a 2024 Vado SL fork and an alloy 38.6 mm seat binder. It runs the Specialized 1.2 SL motor powered by a fully integrated Specialized SL2‑520 battery (520 Wh), supported by a custom Specialized wiring harness with charge port and a custom 48 V charger using the SL system plug. The bike features the Mastermind H3 UI with a handlebar remote, ANT+/Bluetooth connectivity, integrated system lock, Apple Find My support, and customizable 2.1‑inch display pages.
Braking is handled by Tektro HD‑R510 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors front and rear. The drivetrain includes a Praxis 44T narrow‑wide chainring (104 mm BCD, 49.8 mm chainline), a SRAM FC S699 alloy crankset (165 mm for S, 170 mm for M/L, 175 mm for XL), a Shimano Cues 11‑speed Linkglide 11–50T cassette, Shimano Cues SL‑U8000 shifters, an 11‑speed Shimano chain, and a Shimano Cues RD‑U8000 rear derailleur. A Specialized custom chainguard completes the setup.
The wheel system consists of 700c double‑wall alloy rims with 27 mm internal width, DT Swiss J‑bend spokes, an alloy 24H 12×100 mm front hub, and an alloy 28H 12×142 mm rear hub. Standard 40 mm SV tubes support Specialized Hemisphere 700×47c tires with flat protection, reflective sidewalls, wire beads, and all‑terrain tread.
The cockpit includes a Bridge Sport saddle with hollow Cr‑Mo rails (155 mm), ERGON GA30‑S custom grips (134.8 mm), a Specialized alloy single‑bolt 30.9 mm seatpost, and a Specialized Stealth alloy stem with integrated display and light mount (60 mm/17° for S/M, 75 mm/15.5° for L/XL). The handlebars are Specialized alloy with a 9‑degree backsweep, 15 mm rise, and 31.8 mm clamp.
Accessories include a Lezyne EBike Power STVZO E500+ headlight with integrated mount, a Spanninga STVZO Commuter Glow taillight with auto‑brake function, Specialized commuter pedals with grip tape and reflectors, a Specialized brass bell, custom alloy fenders with a sandblast‑anodized black finish and integrated stays, a Specialized 40 mm‑mount kickstand, and a Turbo SL rear rack compatible with MIK HD and rated for 27 kg.
