The Vado’s battery locks in the bike or can be easily taken with you. And if anyone tries to move your bike an alarm will sound. Beat it, thieves.

The E-bike features a custom charger with a 42V4A output and a Rosenberger plug, compatible with 100-240V power sources. Its user interface includes the MasterMind TCD, a handlebar remote with anti-theft functionality, Bluetooth® connectivity, and customizable display pages. The Specialized 2.2 motor provides 90Nm of torque and is custom-tuned with a 250W nominal rating. The integrated Specialized U2-710 battery offers 710Wh of capacity and includes a state-of-charge display, meeting UL certification standards. The E5 Aluminum frameset includes a bottom bracket motor mount, a fully integrated and lockable downtube battery, internal cable routing, and mounts for both a lock and front rack. The Specialized Alloy seat binder features a 34.9mm diameter with a steel bolt.

The suspension is equipped with a RockShox Recon Silver RL fork offering 80mm of travel and Motion-Control with fender mounts. The braking system consists of Shimano 4-piston front and rear brakes, specifically the CUES BL-U8000 and BR-U8020 models. The drivetrain includes a 48T chainring, custom alloy crankarms (170mm), a Shimano LG500 chain, and an 11-speed Shimano cassette (11-50T). The rear derailleur is a Shimano RD-U8000, featuring Shadow Plus design and direct attachment, while the shift lever is a Shimano SL-U8000-11IR Rapidfire model.

The wheels and tires include 650b double-wall alloy rims, DT Swiss Industry spokes, and Pathfinder Sport Reflect tires (650Bx2.3). Both front and rear hubs are Specialized alloy disc models with sealed cartridge bearings and thru-axles. Standard 40mm inner tubes complete the wheelset.

The cockpit features a Bridge Sport saddle with steel rails, a Cane Creek Thudbuster ST seat post, and ERGON GA30-S custom grips. The handlebars are Specialized alloy with a 15-degree backsweep and a 46mm rise, mounted on a Specialized Flowset stem with a 20-degree rise.

Accessories include Specialized DRYTECH fenders, an integrated Garmin radar system, a LEZYNE Power StVZO E500+ headlight with 500 lumens, and a Spanninga taillight with commuter glow and brake functionality. The bike also has Specialized commuter pedals, a brass bell, a 40mm mount kickstand, and a Specialized MIK HD rack with built-in pannier mounts and a 27kg load capacity. Security is enhanced with a Turbo System Lock.
