This e-bike features a Specialized E5 Premium Aluminum frame with front and rear thru-axles, a fully integrated down tube for its Specialized SL1-320 320Wh battery, internal cable routing, and mounts for fenders and a rack. It utilizes a custom Specialized wiring harness with a charge port and comes with a custom 48V charger featuring an SL system plug. Powering the bike is a new Specialized 1.2 SL Custom Lightweight Motor. The rider interface is a Specialized MasterMind TCU, which displays the percentage of remaining charge and offers 120 possible display configurations, MicroTune assist adjustment, over-the-air updates, and ANT+/Bluetooth® connectivity, all controlled via a handlebar remote. The front suspension is a Future Shock 3.1 with a Smooth Boot and a 12x100mm thru-axle. Braking is handled by SRAM APEX hydraulic disc brakes with a 180mm rotor in the front and a 160mm rotor in the rear. The drivetrain consists of a SRAM Apex Eagle 12-speed rear derailleur, SRAM Apex 12-speed shift levers, a SRAM X-Sync Eagle 44T chainring on SRAM Alloy DUB crank arms, a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed chain, and a SRAM PG1210 11-50t 12-speed cassette. The bike rolls on DT Swiss G540 tubeless-ready rims with a 24mm internal width, laced with DT Swiss Champion stainless steel spokes to Specialized full sealed bearing thru-axle hubs with centerlock disc mounts. Tires are Pathfinder Pro 2Bliss Ready in 700x38c size, with Presta valve inner tubes. The cockpit includes a Body Geometry Power Sport saddle with steel rails, a carbon single-bolt 27.2mm seatpost with a Specialized Alloy 30.8mm seat binder, a Future Stem Comp, Supacaz Suave tape, and Specialized Adventure Gear Hover handlebars with a 103mm drop, 70mm reach, and 12º flare.
