KINEMATICS PERFECTED: As the quintessential trail bike, Stumpjumper 15 Alloy balances efficiency and optimal bump force management. For the anti-squat on Stumpjumper 15 Alloy, we struck a balance between the previous Stumpjumper and Stumpjumper EVO, as both had excellent pedaling characteristics.

Six distinct geometry settings allow you to hone performance for any style and any terrain. The head angle and bottom bracket can be fine-tuned for stability or clearance.

FORM FOLLOWS FUN: We can make a frame as stiff as we want, but there’s such a thing as too stiff. To be one with the bike requires engineered compliance in the frame. We engineered the M5 Alloy chassis—front end, rear end, and the link between them—as a single unit that hits the stiffness target we established for trail riding.

WHEEL SIZE: All coil-sprung models come with mixed wheels.

The bike features an M5 Alloy chassis and rear-end frame with Trail Geometry, SWAT™ Door integration, a head tube angle adjustment, threaded bottom bracket, internal cable routing, 12x148mm dropouts, sealed cartridge bearing pivots, and compatibility with SRAM UDH. The frameset incorporates SWAT internal downtube storage for added convenience. A 38.6mm alloy seat binder secures the seatpost.

The suspension system includes a FOX DHX Factory rear shock with Ride Dynamics Trail Tune, offering various spring rates depending on size: S2 (400lbs), S3 (450lbs), S4 (500lbs), S5 (550lbs), and S6 (600lbs). At the front, the FOX FLOAT 38 Factory fork features a GRIP X2 damper, adjustable rebound and compression, a 15x110mm QR axle, a 44mm offset, and 160mm of travel.

Braking is powered by TRP DH-R EVO hydraulic disc brakes, with a 4-piston caliper and 220mm rotor at the front and a 203mm rotor at the rear. The drivetrain consists of Shimano SLX components, including a 12-speed M7100 chain, BB-MT801 threaded bottom bracket, and M7120 crankset with a 32T chainring and variable crank arm lengths (S2-S3: 165mm, S4-S6: 170mm). The Shimano SLX M7100 rear derailleur, CS-M7100 cassette (10-51t), and shift levers complete the drivetrain.

The wheels include Roval Traverse hookless alloy rims with a 30mm inner width, tubeless-ready design, and a mixed-size configuration: 29-inch at the front and 27.5-inch at the rear. The front hub is a DT Swiss 370 (15x110mm, 28h), paired with a Butcher GRID TRAIL casing tire (29x2.3"), while the rear hub is also a DT Swiss 370 (12x148mm, 32h) with an Eliminator GRID GRAVITY casing tire (27.5x2.3"). Sapim Force spokes and standard inner tubes with Presta valves complete the wheel system.

The cockpit features a Bridge Comp saddle with Hollow Cr-mo rails (155mm width for S1-S2, 143mm for S3-S6), a Deity stem with a 35mm clamp and length, Deity Knuckleduster grips, and Deity Racepoint handlebars with a 5-degree upsweep, 9-degree backsweep, and 810mm width (25mm rise for S2, 38mm rise for S3-S6). The seatpost is a PNW Loam OE Dropper with tool-less travel adjustment, equipped with a Range lever and varying travel lengths: 150mm for S2, 170mm for S3, and 200mm for S4-S6.
