Braking is handled by Promax DSK-926 hydraulic disc brakes with adjustable reach and 160mm rotors in the rear. The drivetrain includes a forged alloy crankset with a 40T chainring, chainguard, 115mm length, and narrow Q-factor, paired with a KMC X8 chain with Missing Link™, a square-tapered 68mm bottom bracket, a microSHIFT Acolyte 12-42t 8-speed cassette, quick trigger shifter, and a microSHIFT Super Short 8-speed rear derailleur with clutch.
