Balance bikes, like the Kink Coast, help teach children balance and coordination instead of relying on training wheels. What’s special about the Coast is the way it combines features and geometry for children, with that of a full size BMX bike. The Coast is a balance bike designed for working a child’s way up to their first BMX bike. This bike features an ultra-low standover height allowing the seat to be lowered as much as possible and comes in a cool Forge Blue colorway.
Note: Designed for children ages 2 and up. Seat height adjustable from 14.25″-16.75″.
The bike features a Kink Coast frame made from 100% hi-ten steel, paired with a Kink Conduit fork constructed from the same material and designed with tapered fork legs for added strength. It comes equipped with Kink T500 5" hi-ten steel handlebars, Mission Micro grips, and a Mission Frontload 30mm stem, along with a standard 1 1/8" threadless headset. The seat setup includes a Mission Weider combo seat with a steel combo post and a Mission Slim clamp.
On the wheel side, it uses Mission unsealed hubs with 3/8" axles in both the front and rear, laced to Mission X7 16H rims and fitted with Mission Tracker 12x2.25" tires. Many components such as pedals, chain, sprocket, brakes, brake lever, brake cable, cranks, bottom bracket, driver, and pegs are not included. The total weight of the bike is 11 pounds 14 ounces
